Onsite emergency machine and hydraulic services. Marine Deck knuckle and extension crane. Bearings and cylinder failed at the knuckle Joint. We Performed onsite emergency repairs including magnesium lance piecing of the 2 stainless steel knuckle joint pins, removal of extension section and Knuckle cylinder. Performed onsite line welding and boring to repair the damage. Machined and installed all new 660 bearing bronze bushings. Assembled Knuckle section with custom threaded 17-4Ph stainless steel pins with 660 bearing bronze thrust washers. Onsite re-assemble of crane, repaired knuckle cylinder, performed on-site operation and load testing to ensure proper functionality and rated performance.

USCG BARBRA Marbritty 175 Class Buoy Tender
Hired as a technical advisor to assist with initial op testing, disassembly of all Buoy deck equipment consisting of but not limited to the Appleton Buoy crane slew drive, Main and auxiliary winching systems, directional control valving, Upgrading Rexroth directional control valve banks, Inhaul winch, Level wind arm, 4 Hydraulic cross deck winches, 2 hydraulic buoy chain stoppers, 2 mechanical chain stoppers, hydraulic deck cargo hatch, Appleton single point davit system, aft warping capstan.

NOAA OSCAR Dyson
Mt. Machinery provided hydraulic system improvements to the vessel Rapp-hydema dual davit winch system. Provided accurate questions and a high-quality cost-effective product, consisting of but not limited to hydraulic hoses and tubing with stainless steel fittings and materials, upgrading the system to make it all more user friendly. Provided an all new walvoil hydraulic control block and completely redesigned the Vest davit hydraulic system to meet the customers specific needs. Everything was performed to the contract specifications and highest government standards of proof test, labeling, and cataloging.
